Company History

The Company was started in 1980 by C. W. (Bill) Campbell and R. S. Black Engineering. The purpose of the company was to bid and do difficult government jobs that no one else wanted to do.

1993 - R. R. Eulenfeld joined the company as the estimator and job foreman, sales went from $120,000.00 a year to $2,000,000.00.

1994 - R. R. Eulenfeld was named as vice president and became part owner of C. W. Campbell Electric, Inc.

1995 - Bill Vetters joined the company as the shop foreman and estimator. Bill Campbell retired in 1995.

1997 - Bill Campbell sold the rest of his shares of the company. R. R. Eulenfeld became the president and sales have exceeded $3,000,000.00 for the year.


Examples of our capability of doing large projects are listed below:

1. We were hired by Morrison Knudsen Corp. to complete the Beeville Prison project. They were unable to manage the project and contracted us to supply the people and management. We employed over 45 men on this one project.

2. We did a $750,000.00 underground project for the Beeville Prison while doing $700,000.00 worth of electrical on a set of paint booths for jet airplanes at NAS, Kingsville.

3. We were the General Contractor for the technology improvements phase one for CCISD completed in 1998. This project was valued at approximately $1,000,000.00.

4. We installed the electrical for San Diego High School, Baseball Field and Football Stadium. This is a $1,950,000 job. Job completed in 2003.

5. Ongoing Instrument Maintenance Program for O.N. Stevens Water Treatment Plant. Project valued at $244,212. This project to be completed in 2005

6. For the past four years we have completed a yearly contract for the Ongoing Instrument Maintenance Program at NAS Corpus Christi valued at $150,000.

7. We installed the electrical to the Citgo Gas Stations at NAS Corpus Christi, and NS Ingleside. Projects valued approximately $225,000. Completed in 2000.

8. We recently retrofitted a transmission test station in a Class 1 Division 1 area inside B8 at CCAD, NASCC.


Recently, we have hired Fields, Nemec & Co., an accounting firm, to facilitate an ongoing quality process to improve our productivity.

C. W. Campbell Electric, Inc. is classified as a small business with sales below $17,000,000.00 a year. Thus the corporate structure is closely held.
